Roman Pottery Workshop of the Tejares.

The study of this site has allowed us to explain the way of life of this type of factory, which was strategic in the Roman world, not only for the preservation of food products (amphorae, dolia or tableware and kitchenware), but also for the construction and commercial sectors. It was a Roman pottery factory, with several well-defined areas. A first sector consisting of 7 kilns, a second sector with an open rectangular area as a service zone, and a third sector, at a higher level, composed of a warehouse that would function as a pre-dryer or storage area. Its chronology dates back to the second half of the 1st century BC and the second half of the 2nd century AD. 8 kilns and two interpretive rooms equipped with specific resources for visually impaired people.
